As the project progressed, it became clear that considering the proximity of the TAG cities from each other, there was a need to disseminate information pertaining to TAG faster and on a more regular basis. Also, TAG in Mindanao has made waves in other parts of the country, making it necessary for the publication to reach beyond Mindanao shores.
Technology has provided the answer to this need to increase the publication’s reach. In today’s wireless world, people turn to the internet to access information and gain knowledge about anything and everything. Technology has also allowed us to communicate across cities and countries faster and easier. |

The Mindanao Coalition for Transparent Accountable Governance (MCTAG) is the umbrella organization of the various City Coalitions for Transparent Accountable Governance (CCTAGs) in Mindanao. Each CCTAG is a tri-sectoral partnership between the city’s local government, the business sector, and civil society.
Spearheaded by the Mindanao Business Council (MinBC), the MCTAG carries the issues and concerns of the various Mindanao CCTAGs, and brings these issues to the regional and national levels for necessary action by concerned agencies and offices. |

TAGabalita is a special publication of the Mindanao Business Council Transparent Accountable Governance (TAG) project. It highlights the activities and updates of the City Coalitions for TAG (CCTAGs) and chronicles the developments and initiatives of the MCTAG.
Launched in February 2007 at the latter stage of TAG-2, TAGabalita has since become an instrument for the CCTAGs to share best practices in the form of toolkits, and update other CCTAGs about their coalition’s activities. |
